Productive Day at the Ranch

Hi folks,

It's quiet here today. Pam and Gary left for Denver, and the day is not snowy and cold, but rainy and cloudy instead. Just like Seattle. That makes it a good day to sit on the couch with the dogs and read the Next American Essay, one of the books assigned for my October workshop. Of course, there is knitting too, a pair of mittens for myself. They are actually all done now, so I can move on to a batch of sock starts that will go out in photos for people to choose from. If you aren't on the list for socks already, but want a pair, just let me know and I'll add you. Can't promise when you'll get them though.

You can't rush an artist.

Which reminds me... I still haven't looked at the novel yet...
